Melissa DeJesus Flores
Illustrator, animator, and comic artist Melissa is best known for her older works such as Sokora Refugees and My Cage. Taking a break from freelancing, Melissa, aka Ms. DeJesus to her students, went back to school to earn her Master's degree in Art Education.
After winning a 2022 Mid Atlantic Emmy for her animation work for Penn State's Science-U at Home, Melissa has been focusing on developing storytelling content for children and teens.
